Zeeland, Michigan
P. Henry De Pree House
Built in 1899 by renowned Grand Rapids architect Thomas Benjamin, this historic Zeeland home is a true piece of local history. We were honored to be part of its transformation—breathing new life into a structure that has stood for more than a century.
Our team was entrusted with repainting both the parts of the interior and the entire exterior, carefully updating the home while preserving its historic charm. One of the most striking changes was the shift from its original bold purple and gree color exterior to a more refined, modern three-color palette—chosen to complement the home’s architectural details while simplifying its look.
On the exterior, we repainted the wood siding, window trim, and intricate detailing throughout—bringing crisp definition back to every line and angle. Inside, we applied the same level of care to refresh the living spaces without compromising the home’s character.
This home has been a recognizable part of Zeeland for generations. It was a privilege to help preserve its legacy while giving it a fresh look that will carry it confidently into the years ahead.
