Vork brothers projects
Epicurian Village
Located in Spring Lake, MI this multi-use building includes a first-floor restaurant, Finn’s Chophouse & Speakeasy, with a rooftop bar and four retail/office spaces. On the upper two floors, the new addition to Spring Lake includes 12 luxury apartments. Downtown Spring Lake will experience great revival with: “a classic chophouse featuring hand cut steaks, farm fresh sides, specialty cocktails from a speakeasy style bar and live local music.” Not only will the restaurant bring a new environment to Spring Lake, but the retail spaces offer great room for growth.
Words from our Project Manager:
“This was one of my favorite projects from my time at VBP. Being painters, we get to really see the project from start to finish and this was one where the final product was rewarding.
From the exterior burnt cedar that we clear coated with a lifetime guarantee water proofer. The Finn’s Chop house base, crown moldings, and white oak bar that we stained to have that speakeasy vibe along with the wallcovering which can look subtle in some places but really bring the whole bar together. The apartments that all had their own great view of downtown Spring Lake. All these pieces require different processes of prep and application, but the final products leave the same great result!”
