Elk Rapids Schools

When Elk Rapids Schools added on to their middle school, they wanted the new space to reflect the fresh start it represented. Rich, the district’s Facilities Director, reached out because the existing areas were starting to show their age, and he wanted a clean, modern update to match the quality of the new addition.

Rich was looking for a local partner—someone who understood the community and could deliver with care and quality. That’s where our new Vork Brothers Painting North location came in.

We partnered with the district on both the middle school addition and updates at the high school, including the new gym and weight room.

For the middle school, we painted all walls and TECHTUM wall panels across the new classrooms, media center, and office space—bringing a fresh, consistent finish that brightens the learning environment and supports day-to-day use.

At the high school, we shifted focus to the new athletic spaces, applying high-performance coatings designed to handle heavy use while maintaining a sharp, professional look.
