When the Elk Rapids School District invested in major renovations at their high school and a new middle school addition, they wanted more than a painting company. They wanted a local partner for their school painting in Northern Michigan, someone who understood the community and would treat their buildings with the same care the community had funded.
That’s where our team came in. Our VBP North crew worked directly with Rich, the district’s Facilities Director, across multiple phases at both Elk Rapids High School and Cherryland Middle School. From athletic spaces to cafeterias to corridors, we delivered consistent, high-performance coatings that match the quality and pride this district deserves.
The work spans new construction, full renovations, and ongoing facility maintenance, covering everything from dry-fall ceilings on exposed joist systems to wallcoverings, Tectum panel work, specialty finishes, and school-branded accent stripes throughout.

The Elk Rapids Elks identity runs throughout these buildings. We delivered two-tone accent stripes, bold orange feature walls, and precision color breaks in athletic halls, corridors, and gyms.
